• Basel 2022

  A while ago I went to Basel with my family to see my Uncle George in Basel. It was a fantastic trip and a really nice city to walk through, even if you do have to dodge bikes. Everyone I met seemed to be at least bilingual, if not tri-, which did make me feel like a proper Brit Abroad. A fair few vegan options as well which definitely helped.

• Walking the Canals

  As the lockdown restrictions start being lifted in England (which could have happened earlier if the government hadn’t decided that sacrificial herd immunity was the best course of action), I’m going to try and get off my arse more and walk in the mornings before work.

  The first walk was on Saturday and it was really nice, although I had to get up far earlier than usual to avoid people as much as possible. I’ve included some photos from the walk below.

• Lockdown Downley

  There was some unwelcome but not unexpected family news just before the lockdown started in the UK so I ended up staying with my parents for a few months.
  It was nice to be back and there was certainly a lot more space to go walking than in London but I did miss a few things (mainly the computer). We managed to get quite a lot of board games done, including T.I.M.E. Stories which I might write a review about later.
